Welcome Back Blog

Well hello blog that I haven't posted on in a really long time. It is just so hard to remember to post on this blog weekly and will more than likely end up losing points from lack of posts. So any way, I just got back from spring break and our next assignment is pretty much a paper on anywhere and i decided to write my paper on the Boise Zoo. I have never been to the zoo in boise before and I am interested to see what the history is behind it. I have only been to one zoo in my entire life and that was the san diego zoo which isn't anything to judge the boise one off of. I am planning on going for the first time tomorrow so I will post what it was like and hopefully a topic that I can talk about in my paper.

  1. Seriously? The Boise Zoo is sad. But in reality...any zoo is sad, if you think about it. We go someplace to stare at a bunch of animals locked up in cages. BUT I think that it would be interesting to know about our little zoo :) Have fun!

    1. Ya I would agree with the fact that the animals that are locked up is sad but at the same time the use those animals that are there to breed so they can put them back into the wild which is good.

  2. It may be interesting to pay more attention to the people at the zoo. The animals more less will act in a fashion expected but people behave rather erratically.

    1. I totally agree with you on that. I looked at the animals for a little but it was the interaction between the animals and humans that I was interested in as well as just the people that came to the zoo and their reasons behind it.

  3. To A Piece of Pie and Lawson: the zoo is a pretty sad place, I suppose, since it could be considered a kind of prison for animals. Do you think animals value privacy? For example, do the animals at the zoo get ticked off when someone is watching them clean themselves or when they're playing or any other activity? Some zoos do great things for injured animals that might not survive in the wild, as well. I think the Boise Zoo has a bald eagle that has a messed up wing. It'd be dead otherwise. I also like Ken's idea about observing people at the zoo. Could throw an interesting twist into the essay.
